Chop-Forks

Chop-Forks

This is unique hybrid of Chopsticks & fork in one. You can use the chopsticks portion for precision pickups and turn it upside down to use the fork for catching slippery foods that might otherwise elude your chopsticks. As eating can sometimes fatigue the hand, you can give the chopsticks a break on the chopstick rest, which also functions as a holding devise for each chopstick when using the fork side.

Contemporary Japanese Tea Set

Contemporary Japanese Tea Set

This contemporary design of a traditional Japanese tea set was created by artist artist and designer Jin Kuramoto.
In the artist’s words:
These are tea sets using Japanese traditional wooden design of spin forming. These can be piled up to place. They offer not only function as practical tableware, also the presence of artefacts to view.
After careful discussions with craftsmen on how to process and finalise them, I produced several kinds of collections with distinguishing forms and colours.
By bringing contemporary values to traditional industries, I am hoping that it will generate new economic benefits and also traditional craftsmanship will continue to grow.
